2025 “Bridge of the Future” Sino-U.S. Youth Exchange Program
Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable journey that blends trendy culture, creativity, and connection? The 2025 “Bridge of the Future” Sino-U.S. Youth Trend Culture Week is your gateway to exploring the vibrant heart of China while connecting with fellow young talents from both sides. Whether you are a street dancer, digital artist, sports enthusiast, or e-sports gamer, this program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in China’s rich cultural heritage and cutting-edge innovations. The Week will be held in Beijing, Guangzhou and Dongguan from May 23 to May 29.
Program Organizers include China International Youth Exchange Center, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and Global Friendship City Association.
Who Can Join?
We’re looking for 100 exceptional American youth (ages 18-35) who are passionate or a professional in:
- Street dance
- Anime and digital art
- Sports
- E-sports
Members of culture/new media associations or groups, university campus association leaders, and entrepreneurs are preferred.
What’s to Expect?*
1. May 23 (Friday) to 25, Beijing
- Visit the Forbidden City.
- Join in a Chinese aesthetics and lifestyle workshop.
- Visit the Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation
Center and Shougang Park. - Join an AI art workshop.
- Engage in the Green Wave Future Trend Carnival with a variety of
activities: an eco-friendly basketball tournament, a green market,
an environmental-themed street dance competition, a sustainable
fashion show.
2. May 26 (Monday), Guangzhou
- Participate in a Sino-U.S. Youth Trend Culture Roundtable or
Dialogue at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
(Guangzhou).
3. May 27 (Tuesday), Dongguan
- Visit the Dongguan Street Dance Association.
- Head to the China Trendy Toy Capital: Dongguan Trendy Toy
Center. - Visit Guangdong Innovative Technical College and Guangdong
Hongyuan Club Basketball Training Base. - Participate in the Eastern Rhythm Workshop: from Tai Chi and
street dance. - Join the Basketball Without Borders Special Training.
4. May 28 (Wednesday), Dongguan, Guangzhou
- Visit some of the most innovative trendy toy companies
(Modonghe, TOYCITY, PinKu, and Hayidai). - Visit the Dongguan Centennial Chinese Comic Art Museum.
- Join a lecture on the brief history of Chinese animation spirit and
roundtable discussions on the trend industry. - Return to Guangzhou.
5. May 29 (Thursday), Guangzhou
- Depart from Guangzhou to the U.S.
