To advance practical cooperation between China and U.S. at sub-national levels to bring more benefits to the two peoples, Global Friendship City Association (GFCA) and Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) are proud to co-organize the 8th US-China Sister Cities Summit in San Francisco on June 5, 2026.

With the theme of “Shared Efforts for High-quality City Development,” the 8th U.S.-China Sister Cities Summit will focus on three topics, namely “Green Development and City Governance”, “Culture and Tourism”, “Education and Youth”. More than 200 participants, including officials from China and U.S. sub-national governments, representatives of sister city committees and friendly organizations, business leaders, etc, are expected to attend the event and undertake an in-depth discussion to achieve concrete cooperation for the benefits of the two peoples.
